Reading Card

learn how to read

The rectangular plastic card, which is about 8 inches wide and 3 inches high, has windows on all four corners in different colors, through which is read. The child puts the card on the text with his favorite color on the top left corner - and the reading can begin! It's like when children read with their fingers, only better. The children stay on the line, the word is highlighted in color, and the children read much more attentive.

This new card training can take place alone or in pairs. Instructions for a reading technique called "Spell Reading" are printed on the card. The best side effect of the card is that all students, including those who have no problems with reading and writing, would rather read with the card, and thus more than usual.

reading problems

Scientific studies have shown that a majority of individuals that exhibit reading problems are affected by subjective visual perception. When reading, the visual channels have to work precisely timed together so that there is no overlap of visual information.

Science has proven the positive effects of the influences of colors while reading. Especially the color blue leads to a phasic activity of the channels, which leads to an increase in reading achievement, reading comprehension and reading speed. The color thus supports the sub-processes of the visual sensors.

1
The color, which is most pleasing to the eye, should be chosen from the four window corners of the EASY - Reading Card. The card should be turned until the chosen color is in the upper left-hand corner.
2
At first, the single letters of the word are shown by moving the EASY - Reading Card (letter by letter) slowly over the word.
3
The reader spells the word, the EASY - Reading Trainer pronounces the whole word, then the reader repeats the word. No more than 100 words should be spelled in a row.
4
The reader lets his eyes and thoughts glide slowly over the text, which has just been spelled.

5
Then the text is read. After every punctuation mark, the reader is asked about the text content by the trainer.
